GAYLORD — The application deadline for a application made to stimulate entrepreneurship in Otsego County has been extended till June 30.
Accelerate Otsego is the name of the effort and hard work from the Otsego County Financial Alliance (OCEA) and sponsoring individuals.
“Any business enterprise that has been running significantly less than a few a long time or is a model new enterprise plan are eligible for this method,” explained Lisa McComb, govt director of OCEA.
Identical to “Shark Tank,” the Emmy Award-winning entrepreneurial-themed actuality demonstrate on the ABC tv network, business homeowners will pitch their ideas on Sept. 15 when competitors will vie for in excess of $22,000 in funding.
“They will pitch their company system or thought to judges from our sponsoring organizations,” McComb stated.

Apps are offered at the OCEA offices in the Otsego County developing on Most important Street in Gaylord. Apps demand a $75 non-refundable price to assist with system bills.
Applicant needs are that the company need to be a for-revenue operation based in Otsego County. Thanks to sponsorship constraints, marijuana businesses are not suitable for the program.
