“When I appeared at the policies, I won’t lie, I was shocked at the lengthy treatment, that at any supplied level prior to the real Senate impeachment demo proceedings could disqualify the copious amounts of evidence that display distinct and repetitive actions of felony, corruption, and neglect of duty by Governor Torres about these various yrs. With out the evidence to back it up, the impeachment approach is incomplete,” she mentioned.
“Doing what is proper is never quick, but it is normally the correct point to do. So, senators, we check with that you do what is proper for the folks: to be truthful. These policies? They are not good. They skew in favor of this impeached governor.”

She also noted that there ended up no restrictions placed on who the impeached formal can have as lawful counsel and personnel for the impeachment proceedings.
“Again, this is very biased, partial, and unfair to the Residence of Representatives… I am not a lawful specialist, but based mostly on my comprehending of the proposed rules, the Senate will not be conducting a fair and impartial demo and, if these guidelines are adopted, we may well not even have a demo at all. The proposed policies are littered with bias. It is extremely evident and noticeable that the scales of justice have been deliberately tipped to accommodate the impeached,” she explained.
According to Sen. Deleon Guerrero, “It is apparent that the adopted impeachment policies do not spell justice.”
