Texas mom accused of killing son to collect insurance money

A Houston mom is accused of killing her 6-year-aged son with a lethal blend of medication in purchase to accumulate his existence insurance revenue, a report stated.

Ashley Marks, 25, was busted Wednesday for the June 2020 overdose death of her son, Jason Sanchez- Marks, and charged with capital murder, KHOU 11 claimed.

“I think she poisoned her youngster to funds in on two lifetime insurance policies she took out on her son a thirty day period prior to his demise,” Gilbert Sawtelle, a prosecutor at the Harris County District Attorney’s Business office stated, according to the report.

Marks, a certified insurance plan agent in Texas, allegedly fed her son a deadly dose of methamphetamine and numerous about-the-counter drugs, prosecutors stated.

The grandfather named the law enforcement, but by the time they arrived, the youngster was lifeless.

Ashley Marks was denied bail at her Thursday arraignment.
